Soooooooo today is the first day of Lent,and I'm already fuckin up.I decided to give up fast foods,fried foods and red meats,but this morning,I found myself in the drive thru of Burger King ordering a sausage and egg crosandwich,I mean a brother was hungry.I could of bought 2 for the lovely price of 3 dollars,but trying to show some type of discipline I only got one,which was a rip off because that shit was 2.53. So I shall put this flaw behind me,and really stick to my no having fast foods for now on,hopefully. I wonder is Subaway is fast food though? Hmmmmmm.

So today is gonna be a lovely 63 degree day in the city of Chicago,to bad this shit is only going to last for one day.But since it is going to be so nice out I'm going to make the best of it,maybe go down town and hit the Levi store,see what new shit they got.Since I know the ladies are going to be out,I might have to try and find me a valentines.SIKE! So today would have been the first day of classes for me,thats if I actually took the time out and actually went to go register.Thats not really the only reason I didn't register,I owe them fools some money and I honestly just didn't want to pay it at this time.So this will make 3 straight semesters I have been out of school,mainly because I'm a lazy fuck and I really do procrastinate alot as hell.Thats really a bad habit I really need to kick.So hopefully this summer I can get my shit together and take a few classes so I can hurry up and get the hell out of there.Besides that,the day is going pretty well,just got a new President in Barack Obama (Southside),but it's a good feeling to see one of "ours" making history in great way.
Oh yeah I'm looking at MSNBC and I think I gotta thing for Rachel Maddow,and I bet Nancy Pelosi was a dime breezy back in the day.

Winter in Chicago sucks soooooooooooo bad,but thee worst thing is that it flip flops like crazy.Last week or maybe 2 weeks ago I wanna say,it was pretty decent,all the snow had melted,it was like 40 degrees for like 2 days.And I should have really known that wasn't going to last, living here for 23 years you would think I'm used to it right?I mean yeah,but I truly hate it especially in January,OH LAWD!
But it's Mother Nature and I can't do shit about it.So until I get rich one day and have money to go live in Miami or Cali for 3 months during winter,I'm stuck here,shoveling snow,wiping snow off my car,driving in the worst traffic and freezing my ass off when ever I take the train or the bus.

This dude Richard Tumpka pretty much spoke the truth when it comes to alot of people not voting for Obama,simply because he's not white.Pretty sad that in this day and age people still have the same views people had 50 years ago.Also the sad thing is that they are passing this nonsense down to their children.If more people thought like this guy instead of looking at race and actually looking at the qualities a person has, this world would be a waaaaaayyyy better place.
